Weekend of Activities:
RIDE 542 - Mt. Baker Hill Climb
is a 24.5 mile cycling challenge for recreation, competitive and first time cyclists of all ages.  RIDE 542 follows the Mt. Baker Highway (SR542) from the town of Glacier (e. 955ft) 24.5 miles to its terminus at Artist Point (e. 5140 ft), on the border of North Cascades National Park.   RIDE 542 has several catergories: Competitive for fast riders, Recreational for riders with a competitive desire...and the Summit Ride for those just wanting to fully enjoy the ride. There is also the DUMB Century, which is up, Down, Up, down Mt. Baker. For more details and start times, go to Categories section on the Info page.

**CROSS 542- Saturday 6th 9am
In 2007, we launched CROSS 542 with a partnership with Cyclocrazed and established a great course at Silver Lake Park. This early season test will be fun, designed for all abilities and we encourage first time CROSS racers to give it a try. Details will be coming soon.

**RUN 542- Saturday 6th time 3pm
A 10km course is being designed from the White Salmon Lodge to Artist Point...2000ft + elevation...all on the trails. Course is waiting final approval. We will post as soon as we know...but this will be a very strenuous and beautiful run through the Mt. Baker Ski Area and up to Artist Point.

**EAT 542 - All riders and runners are invited to the First Annual EAT 542, hosted by the Foothill Chamber of Commerce and the communities of the Foothills. Saturday at 7pm. Snowwater Inn. Details soon.

This year, we are catering the event with the help from Milano's and Graham's. The Catered Event meal cost $12 per person.

A little bit about the GREEN FEE-We are supporting Bonneville Environmental Foundation through buying carbon off-sets, Re-sources and the Whatcom Land Trust who is focusing local efforts on local watershed issues...all to support the betterment of the earth.
